Watching from the sidelines
Cheering on my team
When I scream it’s silent
It’s just me, I’m irrelevant

I see my team losing
Pain pours on like rain
All I want is to help
But I can’t, I’m invisible

I’m waiting for the game to end
It gets so lonely over here
Still time goes on and on
It’s too bad, I don’t matter

Maybe I should go home
Give up this game I can never win
Without me nothing changes
Oh well, I’m just the girlfriend
